This is going to be a very short blog post…but one that’ll give you insight into LinkedIn advertising in a new way (assuming you don’t know it already)...
Step 1: LinkedIn Ad Library
Go to LinkedIn’s very own ad library:
https://www.linkedin.com/ad-library/home
Step 2:
You can filter for…
- Competitors
e.g. https://www.linkedin.com/ad-library/search?accountOwner=accenture&countries=GB - Keywords e.g. sustainability
(click an ad to see targeting etc e.g. https://www.linkedin.com/ad-library/detail/421067084)
This’ll bring up image and video ads.
Step 3:
The tip below gives you another layer of information…
- Search for: %FIRSTNAME% - and you'll be able to see all the sponsored Sponsored Mails people are sending.
(you can add in multiple keywords by using a comma between them e.g. https://app.screencast.com/UjKcxsvlFMCLq)
Note: this is assuming ‘personalisation tokens’ are being used in their Sponsored Messaging - but most people seem to use (at least) First Name.
